How much does Harmonica weigh?

By coincidence, yesterday the Daughter took our two in for their annual checkup and distemper shots. The vet commented on how small they were. The heaviest is only 700grams. That's 1.5 lbs.

Karen took the ferrets into the vet today, and the vet said he'd never seen such a big ferret (Harmonica, the blond). Harmonica has gained a half pound in a month. This would be like me gaining 25 pounds in a month. The vet thinks he could have Cushing's disease, so we'll need to a special blood test done, and then I suppose he'd need to be on meds.

See? Ferrets getting into the ornaments is the least of your weasly problems :)

Ar one stage in my life, it wasn't a real Christmas tree unless you'd stolen it.

This involved a late night foray into the Gold Coast hinterlands armed with a hand saw.

Pine trees are weeds, right?

You've beaten me to the Christmas bit - I'm impressed. Our tree is now a little tinselly thing - you'd hate it and so would the rest of my offspring. It's not even out of the cupboard yet! Next thing we know you'll be making Xmas puddings, cakes, mince pies and shortbread. Uh?
